Texas Country Music Association, Inc. Appoints New Executive VP

News Release: (Carthage, Texas) – The Texas Country Music Association, Inc. is proud to announce Nathan Hunnicutt as their new Executive Vice President. Hunnicutt is the founder of the already established ETX Music Awards, which just had it’s own fifth annual red carpet event. Nathan Hunnicutt holds an MBA from Harding University and has the business development and marketing experience to move TCMA forward.
The Texas Country Music Association, Inc. President, Linda Wilson said, “Nathan Hunnicutt has joined us to further develop our growing portfolio of services and membership accounts, both statewide and nationally. Together, we will be launching the Texas Country Music Awards. Nathan’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge has already made him a key addition to the TCMA family. And, having country superstar Mark Chesnutt as our official TCMA Spokesperson, 2017 will be quite exciting.”
Hunnicutt comments, “I am excited to start a new challenge within TCMA and I look forward to working with the team to further develop and fulfill their service suite and goals. I am fortunate to be joining such an association that prides itself on highlighting great music.”
The Texas Country Music Awards is currently implementing a Song Contest and will expand categories in the Spring of 2017, followed by an awards banquet in the Fall. Judges of the Song Contest are Heather Little, Rod Phelps, Tommie Ritter Smith, Del Way, Brad Maule, Nathan Hunnicutt, Chris Christian, Hal Willis, ‘Phat’ Matt Ganssle, Linda Wilson and Richard Wilson.
“The timing is perfect as we move into 2017. With experience of the ETX Music Awards bringing in nearly half a million votes, we are aiming to serve the Country music scene well here in Texas,” said Wilson.
