25th Annual Floyd & Fannie Salmon Memorial Day Gospel Bluegrass Festival

May 26-29, 2022 come out and join us for a week full of gospel worship! May 26-28 music will start at 1:00 PM and end at 10:00 PM. Sunday, May 29, we will have a morning message and worship followed by afternoon music until 4:00 PM.

Carthage Main Street To Host Second Annual Film Camp, Theater Camp

Film Camp dates are Tuesday, June 28 - Friday, July 1. Cost for Film Camp is $75.00/ Camp only or $85.00/Camp with lunch.
Campers will be dropped of between 8:30-9 AM and picked up at 4:00PM Tuesday-Thursday. Friday, campers will leave at noon and come back at 6:00 PM for the Red Carpet Premiere of their movie.
Families and community members are invited to come support these young artists on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 6:00 PM.


Theater Camp dates are Tuesday, July 12-Friday, July 15. Cost for Theater Camp is $75.00/Camp only or $85.00/Camp with lunch.
Campers will be dropped off 8:30-9:00 AM and picked up at 4:00 PM Tuesday-Thursday. Friday, Campers stay through showtime! Families and community members are asked to come support these young actors and actresses on Friday, July 15 at 6:00 PM.
Showtime is at 6:00PM . Doors will open at 5:30.

Both camps are for 3rd -8th graders for the 2022/2023 school year!

June 3, at 11:00 AM on the Downtown Square in Carthage, join Central Baptist and Stutes Catering in raising money for Charity Barnes.

Charity has recently been diagnosed with Advanced Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and they are raising money to help with medical expenses and medication.

Your sack lunch will include a BBQ sandwich, chips, a cookie, and water; all for $10.00!

Heartsway Hospice Gives Free Kids Grief Camp In June

Children grieve too, so Heartsway Hospice created a camp specifically for children who are in that process.

June 7-9, from 7:30-12:30, children from the East Texas area are invited to the New Beginnings Baptist Church in Longview for a free Grief Camp.

There will be crafts, games, snacks, prizes and more!

They can also participate in a special memorial celebration.

Free transportation for children will be provided from the Heartsway Hospice offices in surrounding areas. Make sure to ask when you register.
